Condolences for the Earthquake in Afghanistan
On the early morning of September 1, a major earthquake struck eastern Afghanistan, causing numerous casualties and injuries.
On behalf of Religions for Peace Japan, we extend our heartfelt condolences to those who have lost their lives and to their bereaved families.
We pray that those whose status has not yet been confirmed may be rescued swiftly, and we express our sympathy to those injured, wishing them a speedy recovery.
Religions for Peace Japan has long cultivated deep friendship with the people of Afghanistan. In the face of this tragedy, we are determined to further strengthen our bonds and overcome this hardship together.
Alongside the global religious network, we declare our prayers and solidarity, in the hope that the afflicted regions may soon regain peace, security, and solace.
